A brisk fall wedding day at The Hunter Barn
There was not a cloud to be seen for miles – FULL sun. My favorite! Nick and Alexis’s wedding day was just as effortless as it looks here in the images below. We shivered a bit here and there, but the sunshine that typically brings us mid-summer (or should I say, all seasons?) agony, brought a welcomed the warmth and light! Alexis and Nick chose a gorgeous fall palette for their decor, added in the CUUTEST bar-on-wheels, and brought in family as far as Minnesota and Arizona to witness their union.
From what I hear and can plainly see, their love story has stood the test of time. Nick and Alexis celebrated their 5th dating anniversary together ON their wedding day – how special is that?! They shared private vows at their first look that had me tearing behind the camera. Whoever says that a first look takes away the emotion out of the wedding day has clearly never clicked 500 images in 5 minutes while a bride and groom are able to share their unaltered, raw, private words without an audience watching. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing tears, prayers, and the quiet moments between couples before they walk down the aisle. I HIGHLY recommend considering it!
AND to top it off – Even after already seeing her for the first look and private vows, Nick could not hold it together as his bride walked down the aisle. It was absolutely beautiful and so genuine.
Thank you so very much, Nick and Alexis, for allowing us the pleasure of photographing your wedding day. We laughed with you, we teared with you, and we witnessed the very sweetest of loves.
Shout out to the vendors at The Hunter Barn! You all did an excellent job.
DJ TJ, you are the BEST. You get those guests out on the dance floor like I’ve never seen! We seriously were whispering to one another.. “Man, he’s the real deal.” It’s always a pleasure to work alongside you.
Brooklyn at The Hunter Barn – Your hard work has not gone unnoticed. You are amazing at what you do and the gorgeous venue is above par and unmatched in my opinion. You’re killing it, girl.
And and new connection was made for us on Friday.. Sippin’ Pretty on Wheels. UMM… HOW STINKIN CUTE! I’m obsessed with this idea and I’m referring you to every bride I meet!
Scott’s BBQ – YUUUUM. Amazing food! The brisket was so good and I totally went back for seconds on the mac & cheese. I literally just got a cup full and ate in on-the-go. Highly recommend!
We’re so blessed to work with such amazing vendors and couples! THANK YOU!
