If you’ve ever explored Georgia’s Golden Isles and experienced the magnificence of the Oak trees here, then you may be able to relate with me! As you scroll through these images, you will recognize the beautiful trademarks of Coastal Georgia.
So yes, technically this is the “backyard” of one of their dear friends. Driving through the property for the first time, I was not expecting to see what I saw! Acres and acres of beauty. As the clouds came and went, sun peeked through the clouds and the Spanish moss to shine right onto the ceremony.
The choices that Corey and Elizabeth made together, is what really did it for me. Black, white, and greens made up their tasteful color scheme which just made Elizabeth pop even more in her dress! I mean, look at that stunning gown!! From the junior bridesmaids to the officiant.. Each and every person was handpicked by this couple to join them in witnessing their marriage vows to each other.
I thought that the words that were shared in the ceremony were true. Although I have not known Corey and Elizabeth for long, I feel a connection between them that was clearly not being created by the exchange of rings or the final kiss. This is something that has taken time and nurturing to bring them to a place that they will pledge the rest of their lives to one another. Laughs and smiles were freely shared throughout the ceremony. As were tears, that were brought on by the sweetest and most honest vows.
I would have desired to spend New Years Eve no other way, than to share this time with Corey and Elizabeth on their wedding day. Not to mention, they will forever have an epic anniversary date!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Register! Enjoy reliving your day through these images!!
This is your mother’s friend Gloria.
Elizabeth, you look so beautiful. I’m so happy for you that you married that hunk. You look so good together. Happily ever after.
