A spring wedding day on the golden isles of Southern Georgia

Cheri loves photos and DETAILS! It’s only fitting that we worked like the perfect team on her and Ben’s wedding day. I enjoyed being able to focus on the details that Cheri loved so much about her day. Beautiful hints of sapphire blue and peaceful butterflies rounded out her timeless wedding day theme.

Each and every detail meant something special to Ben and Cheri and I loved that about them. I even heard from a little birdie that Ben actually hand stitched the butterflies onto Cheri’s wedding veil. I mean, COME ON! That just touched my heart. If only I had a photo of that to share with you!

The wedding party was a BLAST – I spent most of my time with Cheri’s girls laughing and smiling the whole time. Those are some of my favorite moments of the day!

My heart was really touched by Cheri’s relationship with her dad. They have a special bond – you don’t have to look hard to see it. Mr. Ray was so proud to witness his little girl marry the love of her life. The questions that he had for me just made my heart leap. He wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for her. Shoutout to The Bluff Venue for having absolute servants’ hearts on Saturday. Ashley, the coordinator, was there before you could even say her name. (I think she actually has super powers) The owners, Chris and Melonie, were hard at work in the background. Everything ran as smoothly as it possibly could and it had everything to do with this impeccable team! 10/10 would love to shoot here again!! *wink, wink*
