A wedding day among the magnificent oaks of the south.
This perfect wedding day in Lake City, Florida is going to be engrained in my mind as one of the most light-hearted, yet detailed day. So many thoughts and intentional features were apart of this day – you can tell that Bruce and Michelle have been spending their time making sure everything would be perfect and, OH BOY, was it ever!
The magnificent live oaks soared all around the venue, creating an ambience of grandeur and tranquility.
A white isle runner cut the isle right in half toward the largest oak tree on the property where Michelle would be accompanied by her brother to be married to the love of her life.
The wedding party was something to be noted – Each bridesmaid and the groomsman were apart of their immediate family. The bridesmaids were Bruce and Michelle’s daughters and the groomsman was Michelle’s brother. This was especially heart warming, because on that particular day two families became one. The wedding party, whom as I said were all of their family, participated in a touching sand ceremony that signified the union of the two families. This touched my heart personally because I’ve gained brothers and sisters through marriage this way too!
The reception was Bruce + Michelle’s focus for the day. Their desire was to celebrate this special day among some of their closest friends and family. The DJ, Rusty, REALLY knew how to work up a party. The atmosphere of the party was light and joyful! I don’t think I’ve ever smiled for so long with my camera in front of my face!
Needless to say, the next best thing to dancing your heart away is watching other people dance their heart away! This crowd had the MOVES!
and naturally, we had a blast!!
Bruce and Michelle, thank you for a wonderful day. Thank you for having Jonathon and I as your photographers and for allowing us into such an intimate day between the two of you. I hope you carry these images with you and your family until the end of time. Those that come after you, even sweet baby Ava, may not remember the day personally but they will have these moments to cherish and think – wow, those were two people genuinely in love!
The best to you both, Mr. and Mrs. Nessmith!
